The Keepsake – 17 × 23 inches – 10-40 pieces

The more the better! We’ll select the pieces that will work together for the collage and will return any unused artwork back to you.

Any pieces that you love or enjoy looking at. I would suggest any pieces that feel they mean something to you or really represent your child’s imagination and creativity weather that is from when they were younger or now. I can create a collage that is a mix of their art from all ages and stages. I work with almost any children’s art on paper – crayons, paint sticks, watercolours, chalk, paint, markers, pastels etc.

Generally 2D artwork is best but light 3D elements are also ok (glitter, googly eyes etc.) If you are unsure please reach out and ask! Please avoid cardboard, wood and material.

There’s no 'right' age to start. Whether it’s the spontaneous marks of a three-year-old or the detailed illustrations of a pre-teen, every stage of your child’s creative journey is beautiful and worth turning into a permanent work of art.

Absolutely! Sibling collaborations are a great way of creating a meaningful unique  ‘family’ piece. Whether you choose to combine their art into one large collage or prefer separate treasures, I can curate a balanced composition with my artistic eyes that fit the space you have in mind perfectly.

Yes I cut and stick your child’s actual work to make the treasure collage.

Typically I leave the edges as a wood finish but I do offer a bespoke edge finish for an extra cost. Please reach out to find out more information on this.

I apply a matte UV-resistant seal and use archival materials on every collage, giving your child’s art the long-lasting protection it deserves. Please note that no coloured paper is fully fade proof but by using these professional materials and multiple coats of UV protection I take steps to protect the pieces fully.

Your Treasure Collage is built on a cradled wood panel – a strong gallery-quality surface which is often used. Each panel is sealed and varnished so it is ready to hang.

Turnaround time

Standard 4-6 weeks once your child’s artwork has been recieved in The Little Gold Studio.

Once your deposit is received I will confirm a place your space in our studio & our production schedule. Currently my bookings are first-come, first-served.
