I’ve always been completely in love with art, design, and people. I studied at University of the Arts London and went on to complete a BA Honours at Manchester School of Art in 2014.
The real spark for what I do now came after having my daughter. Watching her paint and draw made me want to create again, and I wanted to find a way for us to make art together. That’s exactly how my business, The Little Gold Studio, and the Treasure Collage were born.
I love traveling, exploring new cultures, and getting outside into nature. I’m a big believer that in art—and in life—there are no real mistakes, you just adjust your route as you go.
At the heart of it all, I love clean, beautiful design. I take those messy, fleeting childhood drawings and turn them into stunning, high-end art pieces that families can keep forever.
When I’m not in the studio with a paintbrush in hand, I’m usually teaching children’s yoga, out for a long walk, skydiving, cooking, or lifting weights. I live out in the beautiful countryside with my husband and our daughters.

Q) Where did the idea come from?
I honestly believe that every single thing a child draws is a masterpiece. It’s not about it being technically perfect—it’s just about the amazing energy of the little hands that made it. After having my daughter, my own house was completely overflowing with sketches, paintings, and little doodles. I couldn't bear the thought of throwing them away, but I also had absolutely no way to display them all.
That's when it hit me: these aren't just messy scraps of paper; they are a visual diary of our kids growing up. I started Treasure Collage to take those originals out of dark drawers and give them the beautiful, gallery-worthy home they deserve.
Q) Why don’t you scan the artwork in and print it digitally?
We live in such a digital world full of flat copies, but I really wanted to choose a different path and work with the actual, original paper. There is something so special about the physical piece itself—the way a crayon indents the page, the texture of the dried paint, and even the crinkled edges of a favorite drawing.
When you send your artwork to me, I don't just scan it and send it back to you. I curate it, hand-cut it, and layer it. What you get back is a real, textured, three-dimensional window into the past that a digital printer could never replicate.
Q) What is your process?
Working with original, irreplaceable art takes a lot of guts, a really steady hand, and a very sharp blade! My studio is a space of quiet precision. I treat every single piece of paper that comes through my door exactly how I would treat my own daughter's artwork.
Depending on the size of the piece, I’ll spend anywhere from 10 to 40 hours on a single collage. I 'dry-fit' and move the pieces around until the layout looks absolutely perfect before anything is permanently glued down. It takes time, but ensuring that final composition is flawless is everything to me.
